##Known issues

Error-checking bugs:
- ~~drawing a line along the outer edge causes a false error~~
- ~~areas are counted incorrectly for lines crossing outside grid points, or shapes more complex than trapezoids~~
- ~~it would be nicer to colour the exact regions, not just simple squares~~

Aesthetical issues:
- the outer edge diamonds should probably be hidden behind the frame;
