## Variants
### ´´number-optional´´

V=number-optional

The local variant ´´number-optional´´ means segments without numbers are possible (instead of summing to zero, nothing is known about their lengths).

##Acknowledgements and Changes
**2024-06-06** When making the panels for [Tally Loop], genre author @Endagorion decided to write a solver to support this process, a strategy that worked extremely well!
**2024-06-07** The missing constraint "every segment requires a number", detected by @Endagorion, was added. The panels and were further clarified to leave no room for ambiguity (@AnuragSahay). Conversely, the variant ´´number-optional´´ was added, to allow segments without numbers.
**2024-06-07** Thanks to @PinkHoodie for sending a rollout puzzle, and to @JustKirb for noticing a non-uniqueness in the tiny example puzzle.
**2024-06-07** Many thanks to @Endagorion for transcribing the original puzzles, for feedback on the implementation that let to improved contrast and highlighting.
**2024-06-07** Together, @PinkHoodie and @AnuragSahay sent 1 classic plus 2 puzzles using variant ´´number-optional´´!
