Place each stone in a different region to win. Placed stones become active and are named "stars".

Like in normal [star-battle], stars cannot occupy the same line, column or region, neither touch diagonally.

If you never tried star battle before, don't worry, as each rule will be explained to you gradually! But if you did, you're about to experience some surprising twists!

Controls

Walk and push stones with ${Hyper("ArrowKeys")}.

Press [[X]] or [[tap]] at a spot to draw an auxiliary mark. Do it again to erase the mark.

The "special push" was removed, following feedback from @@ chz, lavelle @@. Many thanks!

Level "Imperfection" was thus moved to the bonus levels and "Dharma Wheel" was edited so the special push is no longer needed.

The contrast between the regions was improved, by adding region outlines (with a splatter effect), darkening the regions and lightening the starlines (palette change). Thanks @@ portponky, mansfield, karoo @@!

Players can now place an auxilliary marker by pressing [[X]] (thanks @minotalen).

Two new levels added, combo levels reordered, difficulty adjusted or reclassified according to player feedback.
