It is also part of the broader family of [dissection puzzles|https://wpcunofficial.miraheze.org/wiki/Dissection_Puzzle]. Extensive computer searches have resulted in the listing of all known [Pentomino Packing configurations|https://www.fishlet.com/2022/01/21/pentomino/] for specific shapes. This implementation does not require all polyominos to be used, since that condition can be enforced by setters simply by choosing the appropriate board size: - pentominos: 60 cells - tetrominos: 20 cells In addition, some edges may be given, to provide more control, following an idea used in the "Pentoboxes" puzzle by @BenSchultz. This makes it a generalisation of [pentomino division|https://wpcunofficial.miraheze.org/wiki/Pentomino_Division].
