## About
@dohz expanded @Hempuli's [Lohkous|https://www.hempuli.com/blogblog/archives/2422] ([interactive version|https://pzprxs.vercel.app/p?lohkous]), yielding this new variant, initially named ´´L o k h o u s´´ by @TheGreatEscaper, now renamed as [lohkous-scattered], as suggested by @deusovi and @MartinEnder

## Acknowledgements and Changes

Thanks @dohz, @chz and @JackLance for allowing their puzzles to be listed!

**2023-09-01** To @KuchiwoTsugumi for suggesting rules clarification.
**2023-12-21** Variant ´´lohkous´´ can now be used to modify number clues so they enforce the Lohkous (scattered) constraint
**2023-12-22** The rule panels were remade by @PinkHoodie to align them to the more [modern format|../panels#Modern]. @PinkHoodie also sent two puzzles, on eusing the newly added ´´territory-numbers-unique´´ rule.
**2023-12-25** :::puzzletters @PinkHoodie sent a second, larger ´´territory-numbers-unique´´ puzzle.
**2024-01-03** An interesting edge-case reported by @PinkHoodie was corrected, across all region-division genres.
**2024-01-03** The ´´hex´´ variant now works correctly in lohkous.
**2024-02-21** Two new puzzles by @AnuragSahay were received, including a ´´hex´´ variant
**2024-03-20** An ´´area-no-multiple´´ puzzle by @PinkHoodie was added, for Enigmarch
**2024-04-06** The ´´knapp-daneben´´ variant now works with [lohkous-scattered] too. It was a little trickier since repeated clues could suddenly become distinct numbers.
**2024-04-12** :::puzzletters @PinkHoodie sent 1 puzzle using variant ´´knapp-daneben´´!
